2. What data we process

Technical logs and editorial emails are processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for secure operation, troubleshooting, answering reports, correcting content and documenting claims. Article 6(1)(c) applies where processing is required by law.
Google Analytics is based on consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. Consent may be withdrawn at any time for the future. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
Recipients and transfers outside the EEA
Recipients may include the hosting provider, technical service providers and Google as processor. We do not sell personal data. For processing outside the EEA, Google states that it uses applicable adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses with supplementary safeguards.
5. Retention
Server and security logs are kept only as long as needed for operation, troubleshooting and abuse prevention, then deleted or anonymised. Emails remain until the enquiry is complete and longer only for legal duties or claims. Consent records are kept while proof is legally required. GA4 user-level and event-level data is retained for two months.
6. Your GDPR rights
Subject to legal conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent. We may verify identity to prevent unauthorised disclosure.
